DHP (Dilauryl 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethylpyridine- 3,5- dicarboxylate) is an organic secondary co-stabilizer designed for the Protection of rigid-PVC. The usage amount of DHP range from 0.05%~0.2% is recommended depending on the substrate, processing conditions and performance requirement and does not affect clarity in transparent applications.
Application
1.PVC stabilizer
DHP (Dilauryl 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethylpyridine-3,5-dicarboxylate) is primarily used as a PVC stabilizer. It helps in stabilizing polyvinyl chloride (PVC) materials, preventing degradation and maintaining the integrity of the polymer during processing and use. This product is particularly useful in applications where PVC is exposed to high temperatures or harsh environmental conditions. It can enhance the stabilizing properties of Calcium organic systems and other mixed metal systems at low dosage.
2.Pharmaceutical intermediates
DHP can be used to synthesize some drugs with specific pharmacological activity, and provide basic raw materials for further research and development and production of drugs to treat various diseases.
3.Organic Synthesis
Hydrogen source in transfer hydrogenation reactions. Building block for Hantzsch ester derivatives.
Storage
DHP is very stable when stored under cool, dry and away from heat circumstances. It absorbs moisture easily in open air, which may result in quality influence. Please keep it tightly closed.
