L-Menthyl lactate is a cost-friendly,strong yet gentle cooling agent. It can be used as an additive of natural spices and moisturisers in cosmetics. Menthyl lactate has a cool, comfortable and refreshing effect, making people feel comfortable and relaxed. It can also be used as an odour inhibitor (which is relatively safe and generally has no effect on pregnant women).

Formulation Compatibility – Robust & Hassle‑Free: Can be added directly to the oil phase. Excellent compatibility with oils, silicones, emulsifying waxes, and polymers. Works across various systems – suitable for facial oils, creams, lotions, and scalp products.
Multifunctional Properties:
– Cooling & soothing: ideal for post‑sun, stuffy heat, oily scalp, and summer products.
– Sebum control & conditioning: reduces sebum secretion – suitable for oily/acne‑prone skin.
– Supports microcirculation: commonly used in scalp care and eye area products.
Excellent Compatibility: Compatible with surfactants, preservatives, humectants, colorants, etc. Remains stable in weakly acidic to weakly alkaline systems.
