Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) is a water-soluble polymer and is widely used in many industries.CMC can form highly viscous colloidal solutions with adhesive, thickening, flowing, emulsifying, shaping, water, protective colloid, film forming, acid, salt, suspensions and other characteristics, and it is physiologically harmless.CMC is produced by introducing carboxymethyl groups into the hydroxyl groups of cellulose.
